While there Is no particular boom going on, there Is a steady growth that augurs well for the future of this most beautiful city of homes. A gentleman visited this city about ten days ago and was amazed w ith the advancement of the town. He ob-scived ob-scived the pavements being constructed, construct-ed, the beautiful streams of watei, thc abundant foliage now at Its best, the clectilc light systems, and the general appearance of the city led him to rc-maik rc-maik that wlicn the time came for him to spend his declining years In e.isc he certainly would turn his face towaid Logan. This man Is worth at least J00,0O0. The anticipations of tills gentleman arc similar to those of many others We therefore .say that Logan Is and always will be a good town, and Hist class aitisans and mechanics me-chanics will always do well here. There Is also considerable countiy trlbutaiy to the city owned by farm-cis farm-cis who aic increasing In wealth. It nccessaiily follows that larger and moic commodious residences must be built for their accommodation and they will naturally come to this city for the men to do the work. There aic many mechanics, however, who live In small places who are unquestionably unques-tionably equal in ability to those who live In larger places, but unioitunatc-ly unioitunatc-ly for them they are living in too small places for them to develop or bring to the surface that ability which is now lying dormant. Therefore, There-fore, Logan Is a good place for such men to reside In. Tills city will become be-come the homes of letlred farmers and others who have a competency to live upon. Watch and see whether or not we aic right. |
