Show Rexburg. Most of the people here are enjoying good health and arc In good spirits. Crops have been abovo the average and only those whose grain was caught by tho early frost arc feeling bad. Our weather Is all wo could ask of It now, and the farmers arcvciy busy with their harvest. Tho beet crop Is very good and tests made of the beets aic cntliely satisfactory. Giound Is being be-ing prepared now for next cars' crop. Places for loading beets have aheady been built and the beets will soon be shipped to the factory. The fact that a sugar factory will be built hcic next year has increased the pi ice of land. Tho Kicks Academy will begin work on the 23th, In their new building. build-ing. They have an excellent building build-ing now with ample room for all who may attend. Hctwcen three and four hundred suudents are expected. Tomorrow evening It w 111 be possible to run the water of Ljman creek tlnough the new canal to the old Nay-lor Nay-lor lanch on our dry bench. A canal Is also neatly completed fcr tho purpose pur-pose of taking out tho Moody creek on to tho same place. Tho new brick building of tho Hex-burg Hex-burg Drug company willbeicady for occupation next week. It is a nice building and helps the appcaianccof our town. So far we have been disappointed about our electric lights but we can i soon expect them now. The power houso Is ncaily completed and two large bollcis arc already In placo for making the power to run the dvnamo. More school-room Is needed to accommodate the pupils. Frank Haugh returned to Logan last week after a stay of about six weeks In the town. A gicat many stiangers are In town visiting us Just now.
