Show SERIOUSLY BURNED Mrs. Frank Nebeker meets with unfortunate accident. Mrs. Frank K. Nebeker, wife of District Attorney Nebeker, wossevcr-y wossevcr-y burned Thursday morning. While burning some newspapers In tho yard at her homo on East 3rd North, her apron caught fire, which quickly enveloped en-veloped her In flames. Marshal Crockett, who was passing In a buggy, xijjfio her assistance and with tho aid ' ornclghbors, had tho flames extinguished extin-guished in qulto a short time. Dr. Budgowos summoned and with Dr. Caldcrwood soon had tho unfortunate lady bandaged and resting as comfortably com-fortably as possible. A nurso was at once procured who will attend her during the time she will bo in getting over her burns. Her right hand, on the back and the entire palm, was burned, but the severest injury is the burn on her back. All from her shoulder to her waist was burned painfully and it is to this that the doctors say most care must be given, as It may result seriously to Internal organs. Mrs. Nebeker will most likely like-ly be confined to her bed for three or four weeks before her wounds arc healed sufficiently to allow her to be about. |
