Show I Spicks At Benson BENSON, March 30. Instead of the regular choir practice on Wednesday evening the members of the choir decided de-cided to surprise their leader, Mr. M. , . Jensen. When he arrived at the V ' meeting house he found, to his astonishment, aston-ishment, a well-prepared spread. A f ter eating, the time was spent In dancing until a late hour, all Interested having hav-ing a good time. Since the purchase of the Smlthtlcld Creamery by the Richmond Condensed factory there has been some dlssatls faction among tho patrons here, especially es-pecially after receiving statements and checks. We would kindly suggest to the Richmond company to consider this matter and correct any mistakes before the people take action to send milk and cream elsewhere. We have been Informed that the Bell Telephone company won't make any reduction In price to patrons In future If paid one year in advance. If this is true I predict that quite a number will be ordered taken out. The number doing service here at present is forty-three, .lust figure that amount for Benson line a nice little sum from the Bensonltes every year. We den't find any fault with the service. Our hello girls at Smith-field Smith-field are o. k but we'll fight any higler, charges. As King Is considered the suburbs of the city of Smithfield, the young people of that thriving town are already al-ready promenading our good roads on Sundays. Wc congratulate the commissioners In their action on consolidation. It Is Just a matter-of "do what Is right, let the consequence follow." |
