Show i A Pleasant Affair. w. A very pleasant progressive euchre j was that given at the home of Coun- Icilman and Mrs S. O. Stevens Thursday Thurs-day evening In honor of Miss Lillian Stevens of Ogden. Exceptionally beautiful carnations as decorations, a very sumptuous and delicious luncheon aad the charming hospitality of the host and hostess made the evening one of the most delightful of the season sea-son to the thirty-five or forty of the city's elite invited to meet Miss Stevens. Stev-ens. Ladles' prizes wore won by Mrs. A. D. Champ, a cut glass dish, and Mrs. J. A. Bexell, hand-painted china. The successful gentlemen were Prof. Arnold, a sliver paper knife, and Geo. F. Thatcher, a book, "The Gambler." During the evening the hostess was assisted by Mrs. I. S. Smith and Miss Josle Yates. Those present were Messrs. and Mcsdamcs Robinson, G, , B. G F. W., and Samuel Thatcher, Thatch-er, W. S. Langton, I. C. Budge, Nay. lor, Shepard, Bexell, Walters, Emels, Bacon, Moore, Mrs. Champ, Mrs. Cates, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Ball, Miss Smith, Messrs.
