Show THE LOGAN CITY COUNCIL At the regular session of the city council Wednesday nothing of exceedingly ex-ceedingly startling Importance came up for consideration, Tho work was mostly routine. Tho committee on Police and Firo reported that all modifications advisable advis-able had been made In plans for lire hall; that bids for tho construction of building had been advertised for and received as follows: J, W. Barrett, 0,O8fl.20; Worloy& Nelson, $7,095; II C. Petersen, $8,100. Tho committee recommended that Mr. Rarrats's bid bo accepted and the council voted "aye." Sidewalk paving In district No. 12 is to cost $1.25 per linear foot. In water-mains water-mains extension district No. 17, and 75 cents per foot designated as the rate. Mayor Robinson presented the name of Alfred Gnehm us stock policeman police-man and the same was conllrmed. City Recorder Egbert was authorized author-ized to close her office each Thursday aft rnoon. II. J. DeWItt was granted a liquor license. |
