The land which M Is likely to be purchased Is situated H two blocks north and one block H west of the four main corners in M the business centre of town, mak- M Ing It a very convenient place to hold fl celebrations, baseoall games, etc. H Money was also appropriated for the M purpose of fencing the grounds and M building a grand stand, which will bo H ready for use In the near future. The H Preston baseball club has entered In- H to negotiations for tho purpose of leas- H Ing the grand stand and enough of the H grounds for a ball Hold. H Possible Slugging.
