Show I A. C. Debaters Win at Provo! i1 Farrell and Hillman Make a Great Showing Show-ing and Won Out on Merit. Score one 11101c for the Agricultural College. Messrs. I). L. Farrell and H IC. Uillman, representatives of the bin school In tho debate at Provo last Monday evening, carried off llrst honors hon-ors and arc now being lionized by the enthusiastic student body or the Institution In-stitution on the hill. Thursday morn-Ins morn-Ins special services were held In the chapel room, at which Prof. E. W. Itoblnson, Miss Mildred Forgeon, P.O. Petersen and U. F. The debate Is. said to have been one of exceeding Interest, the peer of any collegiate debate ever held In Utah, and the equal of any heard In the cast this according to various men from big eastern schools who were In the audience. Following the debate, a banquet was given the participants, Judges, professors pro-fessors and a few friends. The people from Logan say that every courtesy and consideration was shown and Is appreciated. Prof, and Mrs. Itobln-fon Itobln-fon went down with the bojs, and Mrs. Robinson has remained In Provo to visit relatives. |
