Show o Letter From England Missionary 23 Booth St.. Handswortb, D'bam., England, Soptombor 19, 1922. Mr. A. F. Galsford, Lohl, Utah. Doar Sir: I havo beon rocolvelng your most wolcomo paper (Lehl Sun) for tho paBt nlno months, and I haven't ovon writ-ton writ-ton to you to thank you, or to toll you I havo boon receiving samo. I hardly know how to express my appreciation ap-preciation for your kindness, but, I assure you It affords mo a great deal of Joy and satisfaction every tlmo It comes, as it brings me right homo to read of the things which aro happening happen-ing there, although I am 5,000 or 0,000 miles away. Missionary work in this country, or at least in this, the Birmingham Conference, Con-ference, Is not progressing very fast, 'on account of tho Indifference ot the people, and tho persecution and prejudice pre-judice which exists against our people. Being so unpopular is one reason, I guess, which makes us appreciate our old homo town, and tho news therefrom there-from all the more. Thanking you onco again for your kindness, and wishing you success, I am, Sincerely, B. W. SOUTHWICK. |
