Sovoral persons wore badly bruised and injurod in a hoad on collision at tho Jordan Narrows Thursday aftor-noon aftor-noon between tho north bound D. & R, G. train No. 611 from Sanpete county and tho southbound No. 18, tho Price Stub. Among those who sustained Injuries In-juries In tbo collision aro I. II. Luko, superintendent or-tho Westorn division divi-sion ot the D. & R. G. railroad, who was badly bruised and cut; Charles Schemer, engineer on No. 511; E. G. Stow, conductor on No. 511 and K. D. Deck, baggage man on tbe samo train. All of tho Injurod aro from Salt Lako City. Thoy wero immediately immedi-ately rushed to Salt Lako City whoro they wero given surgical attontloa at a hospital. Tho locomotlvo of tbo northbound jtyapete- train -was badly damaged and was also derailed. Tho other locomotlvo loco-motlvo and all ot tho cars remalnod on tho tracks. Tho wreck occurrod at tho Nash siding near the gravol pit. Tho north bound train was stopped and had orders that tho othor train was to tako tho siding.
