Show Lions plan birthday party; deliver Town Calendars After an unaccountable do. lay of a few weeks the Parowan Paro-wan Lions Club birthday calendars cal-endars finally arrived last week, and were distributed on the week end, It Is announced by Jim Plnkham, who was In charge of this year's calendar project. The front of the calendars cal-endars features the Chalet Village Vil-lage at Brian Head In an attractive at-tractive manner and we are told that it carries the largest larg-est listing of residents from Summit, Parowan and Para-gonah Para-gonah ever had before. Another project which came to a conclusion on the week end was the club members taking down the Main Street Christmas lights, and putting them away. Jim states that the heavy snow and long period per-iod of cold weather held up the lights removal until this past week. At the regular meeting of the club Thursday evening at the Firelight Cafe, plans were made for the annual birthday party of the club, which Is on Feb. 22 this year. It will feature fea-ture a dinner to be followed dancing according to club officers of-ficers It Is planned for it to start with a social hour at the Gun and Rod Club house after which the dinner and dance is set for the Commons at the Parowan High School, altho these plans are only tentative. |
