Show Burglary charge filed against Cedar youths Two suspects are being held by Cedar City police on three counts of burglary and one count of grand theft, it is reported re-ported by Doug Boulton, Cedar City Police Chief. The two suspects, Michael Neil Muir, 19 of Cedar City and a 16 year old juvenile, also of Cedar City, were apprehended ap-prehended in St. George and returned to Cedar City to face charges. Muir is being held on $2500 bail and the juvenile will be turned over to the custody of the juvenile court. The charges stem from three burglaries and a car theft that occured in Cedar City early Saturday morning. Burglaries were reported at Cedar Glass, Savemore Gas Station and Lunt Motor Company. The auto thelft was of a pickup truck from Parkway Ford of Cedar City. Taken from Cedar Glass Company was a host of tools, a tcol chest and several power pow-er tools. Taken from Savemore and Lunt Motor Co. was change from the two business operations. The tM suspects were apprehended ap-prehended by St. George police officers in the vehicle taken from Parkway Ford and with items from all three of the burglaries In their possession. Arraignment was held Monday Mon-day and trial dates have not yet been set, according to Chief Boulton. |
