Show Hospital volunteers are recognized for service The Valley View Medical Center Auxiliary recently held an orientation and a-wards a-wards social for th.j volunteers who have so freely given of their time and talents In behalf be-half of the horpltal. Mr. Whip-pie, Whip-pie, administrator, was on hand to express his appreciation apprecia-tion for the hours volunteered and to present awards to each member having volunteered at least 50 hours. Those receiving re-ceiving awards were 500 hr. pins presented to Erma Math-eson Math-eson and Sandra Stevens. 200 hr. pins were presented to Tcss Mason and Elsie Jex, 100 hr. pins Margarle Blackburn, Black-burn, Leslie Dalton, Sidney Hahne and Norma Straitron. Arm patches to be worn for 50 hrs. service were presented to many other auxiliary mem-hers mem-hers who are working toward their 100 hr. pins. Special recognition went to Loie Jean Murray for (the many couritlers hours she has spent in volunteer service to the hospital and she was also awarded a past-presidents charm, Candystrlpers were also hon ored for the hundreds of hrs". they so diligently give In working in the snack-bar, patient care, lab and many other aras Where their charm and energy Is so valued. Two 100 hr. pins were presented to Jaylynn Peck and Patricia Stevens. There were many that had almost reached this goal and will receive their pins at the next awards ceremony. cere-mony.
