Show Funeral services held for Howard N. Guymon Mrs. jHilmo Lamoreaux Funeral services for Howard How-ard N. Guymon, a former res- Ident of Parowan and Para-gonah Para-gonah were held in the Para-gonah Para-gonah Ward Chapel on Friday, Jan. 12th. Mr. Guymon, age 58, passed away Jan. 9th in an Ely, Nev. hospital of flu complications. iBishap Myron Abbott conducted con-ducted ithe service and K. Doyle Robinson offered the family prayer in the Relief Society room where friends called prior to the service. The prelude and postlude music was by Mrs. Melva Barton Bar-ton and she accompanied all the musical numbers. The opening song by the choir was "Behold, Tis Eventide" and Kendall Gurr offered the invocation. Vee Bruhn sang two vocal solos, "Home on the Eange," and "My Buddy." Jess Guymon was the speaker. Pall bearers were Leon Guymon, Guy-mon, John M. Henry, Russell Guymon, Broze Guymon, Vee iBruhn and Keith Guymon. The grandchildren took car,e of the flowers. Howard Norton Guymon was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Parowan to Marcus Layfette and Sarah. Minerva Norton Guymon. He married Geneva Topham and they made their home in Paragonah for some time. She died. He married Marion Miller and she died some years ago. Survivors include sons and daughters, Leon T. Guymon, Kaysville, Mrs. Lois Siheilds, Fairview, Idaho; John M. Henry, Panguitch; and Mrs. Archig (JoAnn) Meaclean, Sacramento, Calif. 16 grandchildren, grand-children, brothers and sisters, Harold, Gardens, Calif.; Russell, Rus-sell, St. George; Deloy Parowan; Paro-wan; Mrs. Ilene Holms, Altur-as, Altur-as, Calif.; Mrs. Vera Behank, Reno, Nev. |
