Show East Elementary PTA plans program on fashion Fashions will be the theme of of a Mother's and Daughter's Daugh-ter's Night to he held at the Cedar City East Elementary under the sponsorship of the Parent Teachers Association. The special event will be held Friday, March 30 at 7 pjn. and in addition to modeling model-ing of fashions by some moth-ers moth-ers and daughters of the school, wardrobes prepared by various Cedar City merchants will he displayed. Stores iparticipatisg in the spring fashions and Easter Bunny presentation are Chris-tensen's, Chris-tensen's, Penneys, Sears, Stap-ley's Stap-ley's Ranch Wear and Steven's Company. All mothers and daughters otf the school are invited to attend at-tend and participate. Light refreshments will be served. j j i n PENNANT PROGRAM. Student David Melling and Machelle Goodwin of the East Elementary assist Cedar City policeman po-liceman Harold Bradley and PTA chairman Suzann Watson with flying "Green Pennant" on school's flag pole. The school, along with others in Cedar City have adopted the safety program. The pennant will fly each day until such time as there is a traffic accident or a serious playground accident. Should that happen the flag will be taken down and displayed in the school halls for one month reminding students of their need to be safety conscious. |
