Show Kanarraville By Carina Williams JT Bill and Geanna Johnson from Granger spent the day with their parents Kenneth and Colleen Williams. Bill and Geanna drive truck for F & B truck lines, they were enroute to the west coast. Reeve and Rocena Chidester from Kearns spent the weekend here working on their home - the old home of the Lysle Platts. Mrs. Mable Williams lelt Monday to spend three weeks in Las Vegas with her daughter and son-in-law Ardella and Marvin Bryan and her grandchildren. Rosalie Wiliams and her mother, Lou Ella Hawkins spent three days in Salt Lake and Ogden. Lou Ella went to have a check up with her doctor then they visited in Ogden with their son and brother, Mr. and Mrs. David Hawkins and girls. Kim and Rhea Lamoreaux and son of Granger spent the weekend here with their parents Colleen and Kenneth Williams, Rhea came to attend the stork shower for her sister Teresa Batty. Donna Munford and daughter Charlinda spent the weekend in Henderson, Nev. to attend the annual birthday party for Lional Davis on his 72nd birthday. Pvt. Pat Kelly is home on furlough from his army base at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. Pat is the son of Dr. and Mrs. T. D. Kelly. Tressa Cornelius and Colleen Hall spent three days in Spanish Fork visiting with relatives and friends. Jim and Marilyn Baumberger and girls spent the weekend in Las Vegas Nev. with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vergene Davis. Bill and Anne Advocate returned home Sat. after spending a week in Needles, Calif, visiting their son and family. Ted and Shelley Currey from Salt Lake City spent four days here visiting their mother, Gwen Davis. Miss Renee Wood of Boulder City Nev. spent several days here with her boy friend Scott Berry, Lena and Aloma Berry. Spending their vacation here with their friends Wes and Carol Powell were Larry and Theresa Bradley from Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Verl Beckstead spent last week in Salt Lake City. He took his mother Mrs. Gladys Neagle who is very ill to spend some time with her daughter. Dana Murdock, Rhea Lamoreaux, Aloma Berry, Jean Lamoreaux were hostesses for a baby shower held Sat. at the Ward Cultural Hall for Mrs. Teresa Batty. Games were played and light refreshments refresh-ments served. Teresa received many beautiful gifts. Bert and Roberta Eastman East-man left Thursday to spend the Washington holiday weekend in Calif, with their friends. They stopped Thursday evening to spend the night in Las Vegas with their daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Terry Sproat and family. |
