PAROWAN -Under the Utah Low Income Housing Appropriations Acts (HR4), the City of Parowan has been awarded a sum of $1,726.00 to be used for the purpose of Low Income Housing Assistance. The town of Brian Head elected to award their $1,049.00 allocation to Parowan City making the total sum available lor disbursement under the program $2,775.00. Mrs. Junnie Joseph has been selected by the Parowan City Council to administer the program at the local level. She will work with Ms. Kym Anderson, State Administrator Southern Counties Area, for the Utah Dept. of Community Com-munity Affairs. The Rehabilitation Guidelines, which must be followed by local ad ministrators, are partially . exerpted below. These guidelines are used to determine qualified applicants ap-plicants and the rehabilitation services that can be provided. 1. Applicants must meet low income guidelines. 2. Rehabilitation money shall not be used for repair of dwellings that will continue con-tinue to be dilapidated after the rehabilitation work has been performed. 3. Units rehabilitated must be occupied by persons of low income for at least five years. 4.
