Show Girls Camp Plans Finalized - Disneyland, and each camp will be decorated appropriately ap-propriately with prizes for the best deocrations and cleanest camp. Humorous skits will be presented and at the end of the camp awards will be given. A Miss Congeniality Award will be given to one girl in each camp. PAKOWAN - The directors and leaders form all the wards int he Young Womens organization in the Parowan Stake met Sunday to finalize plans for the girls camp coming up soon. Cherie Smith. YW president reports to us that this year's camp will be held at Dry Lakes on the Vern Mortensen property with approximately 05 girl:; expected to attend. The camp will begin June 2(a at 1 p.m. with a welcome by stake leaders and orientation will begin. That evening the certification dinner will be held and after dinner families will be invited in-vited to the camp to see the decorations and a Walt Disney movie. A fashion show will a also be presented with all the girls participating. par-ticipating. The next morning will begin with hiking and crafts dinner will be served by the Parowan stake officers and an evening testimony meeting will be held. On Thursday morning the girls will take a written test to see if they have learned the skills being taught. Theme for the camp is |
