Show Where's the Fire? On Tuesday, April 10, two fire calls kept the Cedar City Fire Department busy. The first call was at 4:30 p.m. with 21 men responding to a grass fire behind Mezzanita hall on the 'Southern Utah State College campus. The fire was quickly extinguished ex-tinguished and no damages occurred. The second lire occurred at 9:57 p.m. at the KOA campground. An electrical short in a truck had caused the camper shell to catch on fire. 25 firement responded and were able to quench the blaze. Damage to the truck was estimated at $1500, with $500 worth of damages to the contents. |
