Show Bert Ashman Dies In Las Vegas, Services Held Here Albert (Bert) E. Ashman, 61, died of cancer Friday, June 28, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Ashman had operated a service station in Cedar City for many years, and had submitted sub-mitted to surgery in the Nevada Neva-da city recently. He was born in Baker, Nevada, Ne-vada, on Dec. 16, 1906, a son of Charles Nye and Fannie Dead-on Dead-on Ashman. He married Nor-ene Nor-ene Memmott on August 11, 1926, at Fillmore, and the marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Mantl LDS Temple. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Cedar Third-Fourth Third-Fourth Ward Chapel Tuesday and burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. Survivors include his widow, and the following sons and' daughters: Charles W., Hen-1 derson, Nev.; Nolan E., St. George; Mrs. Preston (Phyllis Ann) Walnut Creek, Calif. Al-1 so surviving are 11 grandchildren, grand-children, four brothers and a ! sister, Harold, St. George; Dale, Fillmore; Merlin, Redmond; Red-mond; Elvin, Kearns, and Mrs. Lucille Murdock, Beaver.
