The Bank team won by a 7 to 6 score and as a result went into a tie with Dave's for the league land. Chalking up the win for Eu- gene Adams's Bank team was Richard Day and being charged charg-ed with the loss was Willie Warren of the losing nine. The losers had the tying and winning win-ning runners on base in the last of the sixth but couldn't get them around to home plate where they could be counted. In the second Little League game of the week, played on Monday evening, the Wayne Stubbs managed Burton's 66 team began its climb back up to the top and drove the Lions -Paragonah team of Clark Lamoreaux deeper into the cellar with a 10 to 6 victory. Johnny Dalton got credit for this win although he had to have help from Chris Bent-ley Bent-ley in the final two innings to halt a Lion-Paragonah ral-ley ral-ley which brought in four of that team's runs. Russell Mor-tensen Mor-tensen started the game on the mound for the Lion-Paragonah team and was charged with the loss although David Lamoreaux came in to finish the game. Pony League In the Pony League game of the week, the Simkins Brothers Broth-ers teams squared away again with Kenneth's Farmers Supply Sup-ply nine taking the measure of Gary's Daily Freez team, by a 12 to 5 score, for the sec-ong sec-ong time in a row. These are the only teams in the Pony League, and so far the Farmer's Farm-er's Supply has been too good for the Dairy Freez. Kenny Adams registered the win for the Farmer's Supply, although Ken Simkins used three other members of his squad on the mound, with Rex Burton, Gaylen Gurr and Tim-my Tim-my Hyatt seeing action. Gary Simkins of the losers started the game with Doug Winn on the mound, and he was charged with the loss. He was replaced by Gary Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux and then Mike Dalton, in relief roles. These two teams are scheduler sched-uler to meet again on Thursday, Thurs-day, July 11 at 5 p. m. with no game scheduled on their day, July 4, because of the holiday. These two teams are still trying to schedule games with Pony League teams from surrounding towns in order to get competition they need. The schedule for Little League play for the next week is as follows: Friday, July 5, Bank of Iron County vs. Burton's G6. Monday, July 8, Burtons 66 vs. Dave's American.
