Show FormerResidentDies M Provo, to Be Buried Here Friday Charles Emery (Tim) Tim-' Tim-' mons, 74, of Provo, a former resident of Parowan, died in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo on Dec. 31 following a short illness. Funeral services for Mr. Timmons are being held to day, Thursday at the Chapel of Memories Mortuary, Provo at 1 p. m. His body will be brought to Parowan and burial will take place in the Parowan City cemetery following graveside grave-side rites at 1 p. m. Friday. There will be a viewing at the home of Hyatt Bentley, at 402 East Canyon Road, Parowan, Paro-wan, Friday from 12 to 1 p. m. prior to the graveside rites. The deceased was born Sept. 23, 1893 at Riverside, Fountain County, Ind. to Jasper Jas-per Douglas and Lovina Hy-song Hy-song Timmons. He married Imogene Adams of Parowan on June 8, 1927, and the marriage was later solemnized solemniz-ed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He was a member of the High Priests quorum of the Provo First Ward. Survivors include his widow, Provo; a son, Jerry A. Timmons, Tim-mons, Tucson,' Ariz.; a daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Hyatt (Jayne) Bent-ley, Bent-ley, Parowan; 13 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, two brothers and three sisters: Carl L., Hay ward, Cal.; Harry S., Perry Hall, Md.; Mrs. Laura Paramore, Provo; Helen Moore, Wayneton, Ind.; and Mrs. Holford (Nellie) Renster, Hillsborough, Ind. Mr. Timmons was a retired inspector from Hill AFB at which time he lived at Lay-ton, Lay-ton, Utah, but moved to Provo shortly after his retirement. |
