Mr. and Mrs. Deo El Stapley entertained the Young Mar-! Mar-! rieds to a dinner party at their home Wednesday evening of last week, and Mr. and Mrs. Dee White entertained the same group in their home on New Year's Eve where dinner and visiting was enjoyed. Mrs. Helen Mathoson traveled trav-eled to Downey, Calif.-, on Christmas Day to spend a i week with her sister and family, fam-ily, the L. H. Mortons. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lawrence and children of Escalante visited vis-ited one day last week hero with Mr. Lawrence's grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Laurence. Mrs. Gayland Farrow and lit l It son Scotty re.urned to their home in San Diego, Calif., Monday after a ten days stay here with Mr. Farrow's family, the Raymond Farrows. Other family members enjoying enjoy-ing a holiday visit here wore Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton and children, and Mrs. Chuck Cor-der, Cor-der, all of Las Vegas. Ralph Grc'n, Jr. and children chil-dren returned to their home .'n San Diego, California, Sunday Sun-day following a five day stay here with their folks, the Ralph Greens, Sr. Little Miss Anita Green had an attack of pneumonia while here and had to bo hospitalized. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Williams Wil-liams of St. George visited here New Year's Day with their daughter-in-law and grandson, Mrs. Val Dean Williams Wil-liams and Chad, and also with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lowe of Hawthorne, Ncv., were over-n;ght over-n;ght guests of Mrs. Lowe's sister, Mrs. Helen Matheson Sunday. They came to bring their daughter Mimi back to chool at College of Southern Utah. New Year's Day visitors at the Dee White home were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Burnes and chil- dren of Salt Lake City. Eddie Brown traveled by plane to Lupton, Ariz., to spend the holidays with his folks. Mrs. Vivian Edwards of Greenville visited here one ' day last week with the Harold Smith's and Arden Richards. |
