DAL ltiCHARD JOHNSON Deanna Jean Evans, Dale Richard Johnson Recite Nuptial Vows in Salt Lake Temple In a wedding ceremony that was solemnized on Dec. 15 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Deanna Jean Evans, Parowan became the bride of Dale Richard Rich-ard Johnson of Salt Lake City. Officiating in the double ring ceremony was Howard Mac-Donald, Mac-Donald, president of the Temple. Tem-ple. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Evans of this city and the bridegroom is a son of Oscar E. Johnson and the late Mrs. Johnson of Salt " Lake City. Following their marriage th ncwlyweds were honored at a wedding breakfast held at the Doll House In Salt Lake and this was followed by an open house held in the community com-munity Room of the American Savings and Loan Building in Granger. They were also honored at a reception held Dec, 27 in the Third Ward Cultural Hall in Parowan. For this event the bride wore a floor-length gown with empire waist line, the topi of Chantilla lace over satin, j and A-line skirt of velvet. She also wore a pill box hat of same velvet and lace, to which was caught her shoulder-length shoulder-length veil. Her bouquet was a wh.te orchid witli while carnations. car-nations. Attending the bride was Miss Ann Grimshaw, maid of honor, and Miss Lana Alvcv. : Jack Okel berry, sister of the bridegroom assisted in greeting greet-ing the guests and wore a beige lace dress with carnation carna-tion corsage. I For her going away costume the bride wore a flue wool A-line coat and blue linen I princess line dress to match. I They honeymooned in northern north-ern Utah. The bride's mother made all of the dresses worn for the wedding reception, the going away costume and the dress and coat the bride wore at the wedding breakfast. They wore dresses dress-es of the same design as the bride but made of dark purple pur-ple velvet tops and lavender satin ; kirts, all iloor length. They also wore lavender pill box nats and miniature veils and held bridal bouquets of purple mums. Standing as best man was Donald Johnson, brother of the bridegroom and ushers were Robert Johnson and Jack Okel-berry. Okel-berry.
