Show I First Ward to Stage Annual Celebration Tuesday, Feb. 22 Is Washington's Washing-ton's Birthday and the Cedar City First Ward is having a big celebration in honor of the event. It is the annual Ward Dinner of the First Ward and it will feature a full course turkey dinner, din-ner, with all the trimmings, plus an outstanding patriotic program. Residents from throughout the city have been invited to join with the ward for the occasion. Serving will be at 7 p. m. in the Cultural Hall of the First Ward and the dinner will be followed immediately by a patriotic pa-triotic program. The program promises to be an outstanding event. It will feature a medley of dances by students at the College of Southern South-ern Utah, a series of patriotic selections by the Cedar High Band, numbers from the Daughters Daugh-ters of Utah Pioneers Old Fashioned Fash-ioned Band; "Old Man River," as rendered by Al Hansen and a i skiit by the ward. |
