JACK ORVIN Cedar City Girl, Murray Man Exchange Vows In St. George Temple Ceremony, March 20 The St. George LDS Temple was the setting for the late March nuptials which united Miss DeLoris Condie and Jack Orvin. Officiating at the Friday, March 20, ceremony was Temple President, Rudger Atkin. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Condie of Cedar City. ' Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Jay Orvin of Murray, Mur-ray, Utah. Traveling from Salt Lake City to accompany the couple through the temple were M: and Mrs. Eric Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Ken S. Munley. Following the ceremony members mem-bers of the wedding party were entertained by the bridegroom's parents at a formal dinner held in St. George. Friday evening in Cedar City the newlyweds were honored at a reception held at the Lorin Condie home. Close friends and relatives attended the affair. For this occasion, the bride wore a full-length wedding gown which was an original design of satin, featuring front lace panels and long pointed sleeves. The dress was fashioned with a chapel cha-pel train and a V-shaped neckline. neck-line. To complete her attire, the bride wore a crown adorned with seed pearls which held a shoulder-length veil. The bridal bouquet bou-quet was styled with red and white mums and red roses. A sister of the bride, Linda Condie, served as maid of honor. Tina and Val Rae Condie also stood in the wedding line as attendants. at-tendants. Best man was Jerry Orvin. Ushers were LaWayne Stratton, Jimmy Orvin, Victor, Ron and Roger Condie. Mothers of the newlyweds wore knit dresses in pastel shades. Each dress was accented by a carnation corsage. During the nuptial affair, kitchen kit-chen hostesses were Mary Liver-more, Liver-more, Ices Condie, Elinor Pectol and Loraine Condie. Sisters of the honored couple acted as serving serv-ing girls. At their wedding festivities the couple greeted o u t-o f t o w n guests, Audrey Smith, Joy Lynn Smith, Terry Hopkins and Carolyn Car-olyn and Eric Hopkins, all of Salt Lake City. The bride has been a student at the Cedar City High School and the bridegroom has attended the College of Southern Utah for the past two years. He is now employed em-ployed with a building construction construc-tion firm in northern Utah. After a short honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the bride and bridegroom moved to Sandy, Ut., where they are making their home. Their address is RD1, Box 375 F. ' |
