BAUER Marie Lunt, George Bauer Exchange Vows In a ceremony performed Saturday, Sat-urday, March 14, at the Cedar West Stake House Miss Marie Lunt became the bride of George L. Bauer. President Frank D. Day of the the Cedar West Stake officiated. A reception followed. The bride Is a daughter of Al-vln Al-vln Lunt of Henderson, Nev and Alice H. Lunt of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bauer of Cedar City are parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. For the nuptial festivities the bride wore a dress of brocaded satin featuring a scalloped neckline, neck-line, and long sleeves forming lily points over the wrist and a long double pleated skirt. Her veil of bride's illusion fell from a rhi nest one tiara. The bridal bouquet was a white orchid surrounded sur-rounded by pink rosebuds. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Yvonne Blake. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Evelyn Klrkpatrick, Linda Miller, Carin Blake and Joan Dell Bauer. Margaret Ann Loosely was the flower girl. Performing the duties of best man was Rue Gene Rollo wi'.h Ed Bauer and David Bauer serving serv-ing as ushers. Piano music throughout the evening was played by Marilyn Roberts. At the guest book for the event was Del Roy Lunt. Assisting in the gift room were Theo Dean Loosely and Mrs. Rue Gene Rollo; Aunts of the bride, Martha Klrkpatrick, Klrk-patrick, Wanda Roberts and Utahna Heap, assisted in the kitchen and serving were Maxine and Colleen Heap. In the reception line was the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Etta Lunt Macfarlane; and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lawrence, grandparents grand-parents of the bridegroom. The young couple will make their home in Cedar City. |
