DALLEY Open House To Honor Cedar Couple On Golden Wedding An open house at the Teasdale amusement hall, Church of Jesus Je-sus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8:00 to 11:30 p. m. Saturday, March 28, will honor Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Dalley in observance of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Anniver-sary. Friends and relatives are cordially Invited to call. They request re-quest no gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Dalley were married mar-ried Feb. 28, 1914, in Loa, Wayne County. Mr. Dalley taught school in the Wayne School District for 35 years and at the same time was engaged in ranching before retiring in I960. They have both been active in Farm Bureau affairs, af-fairs, Mr. Dalley serving as county coun-ty secretary for 22 years and as president for three years. They have both been active in church affairs. They are the parents of two sons and four daughters: R. Rex Dalley, Hellena, Mont; John C. Dalley, Orem, Utah; Mrs. Bert (Ada) Carpenter, Mrs. Gordon (Iva) Bringhurst, and Mrs. Dick (Fern) Urie, Cedar City, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Twitchell, Murray, Utah. They have 20 grandchildren grandchild-ren and two great-grandchildren. R. J. and Mar J., as they are known to their many friends, lived liv-ed the first 50 years of their married mar-ried life on a ranch in Wayne County which they purchased in 1914. Retiring In 1W thy 5r presently living at 459 South 150 West in Cedar City. |
