Show Funeral Services Held For Ray Williams funeral services were held in the Kanarra ward chapel Sept. 7 for Ray Williams, 58, who died Sept. 4 after a lingering illness. Services were conducted by Bp. J. F. Williams, and speakers were Or. Reed W. Farnsworth. Harris Gubler, and Alton Ford. Invocation Invo-cation was by Horace Round? benediction by George;- Wood. Prayer at the Relief Society room prior to the services was by Bp. Williams and the dedicatory prayer at the cementery by Junius. Jun-ius. F. Williams. The musical program -included two numbers by the aiigjrtg mothers, "I Need Thee Every Hour," and "Sometime -JNft'Jl -Understand," directed By Hazel Davis; a duet by Opal Williams and Laree Pollock, "Whispering Hope," accompanied on guitar by Mrs. Pollock. Prelude and postlude post-lude muisc was by Arvilla Woodbury. Wood-bury. . - ' ,!! Mr. Williams was born in Kah-arraville Kah-arraville on May 3, 1901, a Son of George Alma and Hannah Berry Williams. He married Sylvia Syl-via Davles, Aug. 3, 1925 in Cedar City. son, Ronald Ray Williams, Kan-arraville; Kan-arraville; one brother and two sisters, C Doyle Williams, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Iva Wood and Mrs. Louella Pingle, Las Vegas. |
