Show Mrs. MacDonald Heads Fine Arts Guild I Mrs. Graham MacDonaJd has recently been elected to the presidency pres-idency of the Cedar City Fine Arts' Guild, it was revealed this week. Mrs. MacDonald will sue-ceed sue-ceed Mrs. Boyd Paulson as head of the organization. Mrs. Paulson in making the ' announcement indicated that study stu-dy has been undertaken by the Guild for the Spring Season and at a meeting held at the College of Southern Utah Tuesday afternoon, after-noon, GaeU Lindstrom, art instructor in-structor at the college introduced the study. Lindstrom launched an introduction intro-duction to "Abstract Art" that will be followed in subsequent meetings of the Fine Arts Guild, Next meeting of the guild will be held Tuesday, Feb, 21 at 4:15 p. m. in the art room on the C S U campus. It was pointed out that anyone Interested In art and particularly particular-ly in the present course of study, is encouraged to attend the meetings. A special function of the organization organ-ization early in March will be a tea in honor of Mary L. Bas-tow, Bas-tow, long-time instructor at CSU. The tea will be held In connection with the hanging of a personal exhibit of Miss Bas-tow's. Bas-tow's. Further information will1 be published regarding the event in the near future.
