Show Business Matters Set For Parowan Stake Conference With Elder Harold' B. Lee of the quorum of Twelve Apostles of the L D S Church slated to be in attendance at the quarterly conference con-ference of the Parowan Stake on Saturday and Sunday of this week, Stake President Howard Knight states that several matters mat-ters of business are to be taken care of during the conference. These include the sustaining and setting apart of five new members of the stake high council, coun-cil, Including Lyle O. Evans and Glen Lee Halterman, who were chosen several weeks ago, and three others who will be chosen this week. Also the 'new bishopric bishop-ric of the Parowan First Ward, consisting of R. Taylor Miller, bishop; Woodrow W. Decker and LeRoy Adams, counselors, will be set apart. Lorenzo H. Hatch of the General Gen-eral Church Welfare Committee, will accompany Elder Lee to the conference and will have charge of the We.'fare session of the conference con-ference set for 6:30 p. m. Saturday Satur-day In the First-Second' Ward chapel. This will be followed by a special meeting for Priesthood leaders, with attendance as given giv-en last week. I General Sessions' will be held at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. Sunday in the Third Ward chapel, and the MIA session will be held at the same place at 7:30 p. m., the program for which may be found . elsewhere on this ' page. |
