Show Livestock Assn. Reorganized Eddie Larson was re-elected president of the Cedar City Livestock Live-stock Association at a recent organizational or-ganizational meeting held by the board of directors following the annual election. Board members were recently elected by ballot and the newly elected board named Its own officeri at a meeting held prior , to Jan. 1. Elected to serve with Larson were Jay Thorley, vice president, , and Darrell Matthews, secretary. The remaining board is composed com-posed of Carlos Jones, Rulon Wood, Claude Smith and Douglas Doug-las Clark, Jr. Outgoing officers who have served through 1956 are Kenneth. Ken-neth. It was ?lso announced that a delegation of local livestock men headed by newly elected presl-dent presl-dent Larson, will attend the an-nual an-nual convention of the Utah Wool Growers to be held in Salt Lake City on Jan. 8 and 9. It was pointed out that also on Jan. 7, the annual meetlug of the Utah Wool Marketing Association As-sociation would be held. In connection with the statewide state-wide event, Mrs. Parson U. Web-ter Web-ter of Cedar City, president of the Utah Wool Growers Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, will preside over the events of the auxiliary during the two-uay two-uay convention. Governor George Dewey Clyde will welcome the Utah Wool Growers and several outstanding outstand-ing speakers will be in attendance attend-ance including: G. N. Winder, president of the American Sheep Producers Council; Carl F. Neu-man, Neu-man, general manager. National vetock and Meat Board; Dr. Wesley Hardenbergh, president, American Meat Institute; Berry N. Duff, manager, Denver Wool Laboratory, and Elliott W. Brown, senior salesman.
