Show Plans Made for Gubernatorial Inauguration Salt Lake City Governor-I Governor-I elect George D. Clyde will take office Jan. 7, 1957 at ceremonies in the Utah State Capitol here. I This was the announcement today by Major General Maxwell E. Rich, Utah Adjutar.t General, who Is In charge of arrangements arrange-ments for the Inauguration. Also scheduled to take office are: Supreme Court Justice, F. Henri Henrold; Lamont F. Toronto, Tor-onto, Secretary of State; E. R. Calllster, Attorney General; Sherman J. Preece, State Treasurer, Treas-urer, and Sid Lambourne, State Auditor, Oat'is of office will be administered admin-istered by Utah Supreme Court Justice, Roger I. McDonough at noon in the Capitol Rotunda. General Rich will escort Governor-elect Clyde. The new gov-ernor gov-ernor will deliver his Inaugural address Immediately following the swearing-in ceremony. The public is invited to attend the inauguration. They will be seated on the Rotunda floor. The Utah National Guard band will play during the ceremony and ushers will come from the Guard's 625th Military Police Company. Following the inauguration a reception will be held in the capitol's gold room. State officials offi-cials and their wives will receive re-ceive the public at that time. Light refreshments will be served. |
