Show PARAGONAH NEWS NOTES 1 Mrs. Bllma Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson Robin-son and Miss Ivy Roblrjon were here from Cedar City for several days last week held to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brown of Provo were Monday visitors at the James H. Anderson home. Recert vision at the Chester Rrblnson home wer Mr. and Mrs. Arvll Ashton of Provo, who were here overnight on their way to Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux accompanied them on the trip to California. Orval Lamoreaux. was. here from Page, Ariz., to spend the Labor Day holiday with the Chester Ches-ter Robinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport Daven-port entertained at a family dinner din-ner on Wednesday of last week In honor of the birthday of Joan's mother, Mrs. Mary A. Robb. Mrs. Robb received visits and messages from relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson Robin-son traveled to Richfield on Sun-Av Sun-Av in cnpnri the dav visitine with the Clinton Robinson family. fam-ily. They had a pleasant trip and enjoyed the day very much. Mrs. Larie Tlppetts was here from Salt Lake City from Friday to Sunday for a visit with her mother, Mrs. Lasca Hunt, and her sister, Mildred and Janet Boyd Robinson and his Sixth, Seventh and Eighth grade boys traveled to the reservoir on Friday Fri-day for an overnight camping trip. The boys had a fine time trying their skill with bows and arrows on the porcupine population popula-tion in that area. Mrs. Stella Edwards celebrated her birthday Wednesday of last week and her daughter, Mrs. Flossie Harris of Cedar City was here to spend the day with her. Mrs. Eve Lou Lamoreaux and three daughters accompanied by Mrs. Evelyn Davenport and Floyd McBrldc, traveled to Hen-rlvllle Hen-rlvllle Saturday to visit with the Sears Willis family. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton and members of their family of Milford visited with relatives here Saturday while their son Leslie was in Cedar City making arrangements to attend school at CSU. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson enjoyed having friends from California Cal-ifornia with them last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Taylor of Chino arrived here on Tuesday for an overnight stay. Walter Talbot enjoyed a fine trip recently with his son Roy of Kaysville. The two traveled to the Evans ranch In Wyoming and returned by way of Flaming Gorge, Vernal, Roosevelt and Duschesne. They also visited with relatives, the Ronald Gales of Dutch John. After returning to .Paragonah Roy remained here for. a week's visit - A large number of Ward members mem-bers traveled to the Parowan Five Mile on Saturday evening to attend a fine pot-luck party for Elders and their partners. Mr. and Mrs. Muil Gibson and daughter Kathy of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the Wil- son Lund home. , Mrs. Wllma Lamoreaux was taken ill suddenly early Sun- day with severe internal hem-orage hem-orage and was rushed to the Iron County Hispltal. Following treatment Sunday and Monday she was reported Improved. Mr. and Mrs. Elwln Talbot and ( their three children of Salt Lake I City were Labor Day week end visitors to Paragonah where they visited with the Rinford Talbot and T. A. Robinson families. Mr., Talbot, a bow and arrow enthusi-1st, enthusi-1st, enjoyed hunting with mem- bers of his family. Mr. Elmo C. Robinson submitted submit-ted to surgery at the Iron Co. Hospital on August 30. He is, now back at work. Mrs. Mabel Robinson and sons Milton and Garth were in Paragonah Para-gonah for the Labor Day week. Connie's sister and brother Pat and Ray Brey and a friend, all of Salt Lake City also visited here. |
