Show Et.OCIM.llDVALLEY NEWS NOTES Barbara Jones Last Saturday afternoon our 1xy scouts enjoyed an afternoon of swimming at Veyo to pass off .merit badge requirements. They were rewarded with these merit fcadges last Sunday at a court of honor. Brother and Sister Oscar Hulet were our special guests at the .fireside held last Sunday night at the Eichardson's residence. Joyce Taylor visited with the Ztlchardson's last week. Our sports directors helped all of those attending Mutual last week to have an evening of entertainment en-tertainment which will be well remembered. Ixma Anderson will represent our community at the State Fair. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Roland Ro-land Anderson and family vis- lted with their son, Kent and his family who live in Henderson. Kent was chosen to be one of the counselors In the newly formed bishopric. Visiting with Mrs. Aurella Petty Pet-ty is her son and his wife, Ed-son Ed-son and Verna Stevens. Gale and Garth transported Clark to catch a plane to San Francisco where he will attend a special typewriter school. Last Wednesday morning Maurine Grlmshaw went after fruit. Her father-in-law accompanied accom-panied her. Many of our ward members attended at-tended a special temple night last VVednesdty held at the St. George Temple. |
