Show NEWCASTLE by Norma Chrlstensen We have lost two of our favorite favor-ite families the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeve and family have moved to Hurricane for the winter. Mrs. Reeve will teach there this school year. Bob still travels back and forth tending tend-ing his harvest and cattle. Mr. and Mrs. Herman McCarty and two youngsters have moved to Sacramento, California, where Herman was transferred by his employer. Their move seems to be of a more permanent nature. A farewell party was given in honor of Betty McCarty at the home of Mrs. Jean Sorensen. A number of humorous games were played, after which a delicious refreshment was served to all the ladies present A going-away gift of the triple combination of the standard combination works of the LDS Church was given Betty and Herman. "Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones and small daughter of Van Nuys, California, Cal-ifornia, was a visitor last week at the homes of Bob's brothers, Richard and Uriah Jones. Mrs. Mary Forsyth and son Doug, former residents of New Castle, now living In Lake wood, California, were Utah visitors last week. While here they Visited Visit-ed some of their friends and family fam-ily In town. Mrs. Carma Beacham and tiny son Joel, Journeyed to Fillmore this week, to visit Carma's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Arthella Taylor of that city. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbey of New Harmony were visitors this week at the home of their daughter daugh-ter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Harrison of Cedar City were visitors In town this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Esplin of Logan and Orderville visited last week at the home of Mr. and |
