Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS , Sealed proposals will be received re-ceived by the State Road Commission Com-mission of Utah. State Capitol, Salt Lake Cny. Utah, until 2 o'clock o'-clock p. m. Tuesday, April 12, 1955, and at that time publicly opened, for construction of a 3" Plant Mix Bituminous Surfaced Road and (1) Concrete Bridge 42.(iG' O. to O. in Iron County, the same being that section of"u. S. 91 beginning 3.2 miles Northerly from the Jet. of S. R. 20 and U. S. 91 Southerly for 15.5 miles, identified as Federal Aid Project Pro-ject No's FI-15 (3) & FI-99 (6). The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 15.511 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as follows: fol-lows: Gfi.100 Tons of Plant Mix Bituminous Bit-uminous Surface, l,141,f00 Gals, of Bituminous Material; 173.700 Tons of Gravel & 267,000 Cu. Yds. of Unclassified Roadway Excavation. Excava-tion. Prequalifications of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, specifica-tions, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the Utah State Department of Engineering, Engi-neering, completed and approved, approv-ed, the required Trequalifica-tion Trequalifica-tion Statement pertaining to contractor's con-tractor's experience and financial condition. The attention cf bidders is directed di-rected to the Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract. The minimum wage paid to all skilled labor employed on this contract shall be $2.50 per hour. The minimum wace paid to all intermediate labord employed on this contract shall be $1,875 per hour. The minimum wage paid to air unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be $1.1775 per hour. The attention of bidders is directed di-rected to the face that this Commission Com-mission has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, U. S. Department of Labor, that contractors con-tractors engaged in highway construction con-struction work are required to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, (52 Stat. 10G0). Plans and specifications are on file In the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and the office of its District Engineer En-gineer at Cedar City, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing $2.00 which will be j refunded; providing bidder sub-Imits sub-Imits an acceptable bid and re turns the plans within seven days after the opening of bids.
