Show CLUB AND PARTY MUTES MRS. THEROL McARTHUR Mrs. Glen Yergensen was hostess host-ess to the members of her bridge club at her home Wednesday night. Two special guests were invited, Mrs. Ray Lee and Mrs. Max Randall. Following bridge a delicious lunch was served and prizes awarded to Mrs. Richard Morris, Mrs. Victor Frei and Mrs. Randall. Mrs. Carlos Black entertained the members of her club at a pinochle party Thursday evening. One special guest was present, Mrs. Berry. Mrs. Garth Nelson was welcomed into the club as a new member. Delicious refreshments (were served, and high scores were won by Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. LaVar Hirschi and Mrs. Hal Stout. The Lohoaobey Club was entertained en-tertained at the home of Mrs. H C. Hair on Thursday night. Following dessert, pinochle was played with Mrs. Frank Milne taking home the prize. Mrs. Hair was presented with a hostess gift by the following members: Mrs. Grant Tucker, Mrs. John Crab-tree, Crab-tree, Mrs. Elmer Cox, Mrs. Nelson Nel-son Bulloch. Mrs. Bladeti Leigh, Mrs. Forrest Anderson, Mrs. Leo Cahoon, Mrs. Walter Hansink and Mrs. Alden Heap. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Childs were hosts at a tasty Mexican supper at their home Thursday evening. After dinner the guests enjoyed an evening of visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Slack entertained en-tertained for a group of their friends on Thursday night at Milt's Stake Stop. The group en-Joyed en-Joyed a delicious chicken dinner, din-ner, then went to the Slack home for an evening of sociability. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Cowan, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cahoon, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Glass, Mr. and Mrs. Haze Hunter, Hunt-er, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Whitney, Whit-ney, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Stephenson, Steph-enson, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Cowan. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Felt entertained en-tertained the members of their club at a dinner party Saturday Satur-day night at their home. Following Follow-ing a superb turkey dinner with all the trimmings, the group enjoyed en-joyed an evening of games. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hafen, Mr. and Mrs. Kaymer Mori is, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bet-enson, Bet-enson, Mr. and Mrs. McRay Clow-ard, Clow-ard, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petty, Mr. and Mrs. Dixie Leavitt, and special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Thompson, who also won first prize for the games. Mrs. Preston Wood was hostess host-ess to the members of the M B W Club at her home Friday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Juanita Naegle was in charge of the program for the clay and she asked Mr. Wallace Osborne to come in and give some short stories from the collection col-lection bv Dorothy Canfield Fishier. Fish-ier. Luncheon was served at the close of this very interesting afternoon. |
