Show Altar Society Plans Annual Parish Children's Party By Mrs. Ralph Box Members of the Altar Society held their regular meeting Tuesday Tues-day evening and were addressed by Mis. O. R. Smith of Milford. Mrs. Smith discussed the Catholic Catho-lic Dioceson Conference which she pttended at Ogden recently. Following the guest speaker tho members discussed business! matter:, including a bake sale sot for Dee. 19. and the annual Parish Children's Party on Dec. 18. The organization will hold a bake sale Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Sprouse-Rcitz store beginning begin-ning at ? p. m. The sale will con- ', tinue until all items have been 1 sold. i Friday, Dec. 18 the Altar Socie-; Socie-; ty will sponsor its annual raiish Children's Party, it was decided at the meeting. The party will be held at Hotel El Escalante and be supervised bv the Mission Sisters. Sis-ters. Committeemen for the affairs were appointed Tuesday evening, and include Mrs. V. P. Rogers. M.s Donald Lynch, Mrs. Gam McAfee, Alex Angelo and Benny Qutnn. Expressions of thanks were given ty the members of the society so-ciety to Mr. and Mrs. Rogers for the donation of a turkey that will be given awav at the bake sale Dec. 19. Following the meeting a dessert des-sert luncheon w;is sorved. |
