Show CLUB NOTES Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Giles Bolunder entertained enter-tained the members of her club at her home Wednesday evening, I at which time Mrs. West Seeg-miller Seeg-miller was accepted as a new member of the club. Special guests for the evening were Mrs. Charles Ahlstrom and Mrs. S. W. Heyborne. Bridge scores were won by Mrs. Dee Arthur, Mrs. Ahlstrom, Mrs. Heyborne and Mrs. Seegmiller. Tuesday evening Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith was hostess to eight members of her club for luncheon lunch-eon and bridge. Mrs. Paul Stewart, Stew-art, Mrs. Criss Mason, Jr., and Miss Ethel Smith received score awards. Mrs. Carl Twitchell was hostess host-ess for the regular weekly meeting meet-ing of the Thursday club, with nine members enjoying the afternoon af-ternoon playing canasta. Special guests were Mrs. Edward Miller, Mrs. John Price and Mrs. Howard How-ard Peterson. Members of the Altar Society will hold their regular monthly meeting and social on Tuesday, July 7, at the Church rectory at 8 p. m. Members of the M. B. W. club vere the guests of Mrs. Mack Naegle Friday at her home. Luncheon was served to 14 guests followed by an afternoon playing canasta. Mrs. Victor Frei was hostess to the members of her bridge club Wednesday evening at her home. Mrs. A. J. Fiala was a special guest, and score prizes were won by Mrs. Dale Milne, Mrs. York Jones, and Mrs. R. C. Morris. Members of the Summer Reading Read-ing club were received Friday, June 26, at the home of Mrs. Glen Kenney, who was assisted by Mrs. Dewie Thorley as co-hostess. Mrs. Floyd Eyman was in charge of the program, and Mrs. Lanell Lunt reviewed the book "Vanity Fair". Luncheon was served to 15 club members by the hostesses. host-esses. The Social club met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Ivan Orton, with Mrs. Elwyn Hal-terman, Hal-terman, Mrs. Verdell Knight, Mrs. Morgan Slack, Mrs. Wallace Osborne, Os-borne, Mrs. Reed Bradshaw, Mrs. I Newel Wasden, Mrs. Carl Harrison Harri-son and Mrs. Loran Hirschi present. |
