Show JeanetteLunt Bennett Succumbs Following Illness Mrs. Jeanette Lunt Bennett, 68, former resident of Cedar City died Tuesday, Jan. 25 in Venice, Calif., of a lingering illness. She was born at Enoch, Utah on Nov. 29, 1886, a daughter of Ran-die Ran-die and Catherine Gibson Lunt. She received her early education educa-tion in the local school and was a graduate of the Branch Normal School and the University of Utah. She spent 12 years in the "teaching profession, teaching in Cedar City, Orderville, Milford and Ogden. She later entered the civil service and worked in an important position in the U. S. Government until her health failed her about a year ago. j She was married to John Mc-Lennian Mc-Lennian in Sacramento, Calif., !in 1912. He died in 1915. She lat-er lat-er married James P. Bennett of Terre Haute, Ind., in Cedar City in May, 1920. Mrs. Bennett is survived by two children, Mrs. Fred Matus- ky and John McLennian, botn of Venice, Calif, and the following follow-ing brothers and sisters: Walter G. Lunt, and Blanche L. Dotson of Cedar City; Mrs. Eva Erlck-son, Erlck-son, Boise, Ida.; Mrs. Eula Urban, Ur-ban, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Mary ; A. Montgomery, Pioche, Nev., and Gibson Lunt of Los Angeles, and two grandsons. According to Mrs. Dotson the funeral services have tentatively tentative-ly been arranged for Friday. They will be held In Los Angeles. |
