Show NEW HARMONY Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Englestea J attended the funeral of a relative, Mrs. Annie Peal of American Fc. k, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker anJ Mrs. Eliza Ann Batty of Kanarra i were Saturday visitors at the homf. of Mrs. Susan A. Pace. Our school teachers took their school children to the LaVerkin warm springs Friday for their spring outing. 1 Our Sunday School sponsored a . dance Saturday evening which was ' very well attended. A very nice Mothers Day program was g.ven here Sunday morning. After the program each mother was presented with a nice booklet by the New Harmony Ward Sunday School. Gerald Prince has gone to Salt Lake City for medical treatment. Mrs. James I. Prince has been to Ogden to be with her father, who underwent a major operation and 's reported to be seriously 111. A number of people from other towns spent Mothers Day here, In eluding people from Cedar City, St. Oeorge, Toquervllle, Bevear, Newcastle, New-castle, Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada. David Woolsey, who Joined the Army on January 1, 1947 and spent fourteen months at Fort Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone as a mem ber of the 45th Cavalry Division, . returned home on May 5th. |
