Show Enjoy Play Read On "Dream Girl" Ladies who attended the Spring Luncheon given by the Ladles Faculty Fac-ulty club were delightfully entertained enter-tained last Saturday when Lculie Hill Howe read "Dream Girl". The pli y is a two act comedy, which had a successful run on Broadway, and was skillfully presented by tne reader. Louise Hill Howe is known ij many audiences through her radio dramatic work, and through her students of Epeech at the University Univer-sity of Utah. Music for the luncheon was furn lshed by two trios, a vocal group composed of Emma Lou Warren, Peggy Bulloch and LaRee Sargent; a violin trio, June Decker, EUie Fish and Mary Ann Lamb. Audrey Dotson accompanied both groups on the piano. The luncheon, which has become one of the outstanding social functions func-tions of the Spring season, was attended at-tended by 160 ladles. Twenty-four ladles came from Parowan to Cedar City to attend the affair. Other out-of-town guests attended from St. George and Sprlngdale. The committee who planned the luncheon was headed by Mrs. J. S. Prestwich, as chairman; Mr Anthony Stephenson, Mrs. Nola Kupfor and Mrs. Helen Mathews. |
