Show Plans Underway For BAC Homecoming Friday, October 10 Committees have been assigned to work out details of the Golden Jubilee Jub-ilee Homecoming celebration at Branch Agricultural College October 10, it was announced by Wlllard Jones and Theon Thorley, . Cedar City, co-chairman of the event. A homecoming queen will be selected se-lected to reign over the fete. Ray Sabln, Cedar City is in charge of selecting the day's royalty. Candidates Candi-dates for the honor will be selected by each fraternity on the campus, and sponsored by them until final balloting during the day. Students will vote for their choice by presenting pre-senting their student body activity card, Mr. Sabln Indicated. The celebration will get into full swing during the afternoon with an assembly In the auditorium under un-der the direction of June Decker, Parowan. All former students at the Branch Normal school and the BAC are Invited to attend the assembly,' and participate In the remainder of the day's activities. A table will be set up where all visitors may obtain Information, and register. The California Califor-nia team as rated among the top Junior college teams of the nation. Planning details of the rally is Vi r-netta r-netta J. Sabin, Cedar City. During the half period of the game, a colorful show Is to be presented pre-sented by the "Lasso" club, girl's pep organization. Members of the club will be wearing entirely new uniforms this year. Other events at the game include the crowning of the queen by Dr. H. Wayne Drlggs, director, and the traditional kickoff signal from her majesty as she throws the ball onto the field. Climaxing the celebration will be a dance in the BAC Gymnasium. In charge of details of the dance is Garth Beacham, Cedar City. Completing Com-pleting the committee for the affair is Inez Reylea, New York City, who is in charge of the advertising. |
