Show Farewell Testimonial Slated for Marilyn Macfarlane A farewell testimonial will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Second ward chapel, for Marilyn Macfarlane, who has been called to serve for 13 months in the Canadian Mission field. Miss Macfarlane is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Mac farlane of Cedar City, and will enter the mission home In Salt Lake City on Monday, May 14. She is a graduate of Cedar City schools, and of the Branch Agricultural college, and recent ly has been employed In Cedar City. The tentative program arranged ar-ranged for the testimonial Sunday Sun-day afternoon will include: talks by H. B. Ipson, Udell Smith and Mrs. Blanche Houchen, with a response by Miss Macfarlane; vocal solos by Miss Emma Lou Warren and Theon Thorley, and a piano duet by Mrs. Virginia Larson and Mrs. Bernella Jones. |
