Show Coveted Citizenship Awards at B AC Go to Delta Girl and Monroe Boy Coveted Citizenship awards at the Branch Agricultural college were presented to Louise Skid-more Skid-more and Calvin Lowe, at commencement com-mencement exercises held Friday morning in the college auditorium. auditor-ium. The Citizenship award, made annually to the man and woman student displaying outstanding out-standing leadership and citizenship, citizen-ship, is one of the most distinguished disting-uished honors bestowed on students stu-dents of the college. Mr. Lowe is a resident of Monroe and has devoted most of his time to scholastic activities. Five members of the graduating graduat-ing class received scholarships to the three Utah Institutions of higher learning. Lucille Smith of Milford and Wendell Brooksby, Ordervllle, were awarded schol- "arships to the Utah State Agri-cultural Agri-cultural college at Logan. Edward Ed-ward Turek, Hatch, received a University of Utah scholiftship and Gladys Banks, Lynndyl, received re-ceived a Brigham Young university univer-sity scholarship. A music scholarship schol-arship to the University of Utah was awarded to Floyd Munson of Cedar City. Twenty students were awarded businessmen's scholarships to return re-turn to the Branch College next year.
