Show Aii R.O.T.C Cadets. To Receive Awards, Decoiations Awards and decorations for outstanding military students at the Branch Agricultural college will be presented on Tuesday, May 16 following a review and parade at 11 a. m. on the college col-lege athletic field. Over 100 cadets and -cadet officers of-ficers will be on dress, parade, in the final appearance of the unit prior to commencement ex-ervices ex-ervices at the school on Friday. Four awards will be presented at the ceremony, with the recipients recipi-ents not having been announced yet. One plaque, sponsored by the Cedar City Elks lodge, will go to the ROTC honor student. A second ROTC honor student. A second plaque, sponsored by the VFW in Cedar City, will' go to the honor flight of the unit. There are three flights at the school. A plaque, sponsored by the Cedar Ce-dar City Rotary club will be presented pre-sented to the outstanding cadet officer of the year, and a plaque, sponsored by the local Lions club will go to the outstanding cadet, non-commissioned officer. An American Legion sponsored award for the best rifle team of the unit will begin next year, since there was no rifle compe-tltion compe-tltion this year, |
