The play, presented under the sponsorship of the Cedar City Drama Guild, featured a cast from the community and the Branch Agricultural College student stu-dent body, with both groups turning turn-ing in excellent performances. I Mrs. Elaine Southwick in the title role did an unusually fine job, giving a performance seldom equalled in local talent production. produc-tion. Seldom will more professional profes-sional performances be seen than were the efforts of Mrs. Southwick. South-wick. I She was well supported by the remainder of the cast, with Walter Wal-ter G. Lunt as "Uncle Chris", do-ing do-ing exceptionally well in this difficult dif-ficult role. The play was presented on Friday Fri-day and Saturday nights for the general public, after having been seen by students in two performances perform-ances earlier in the week. |
