Show FFA Awards Honorary Membership to Three Cedar Men Honorary memberships in the Cedar City Future Farmers of America were awarded to three men at the parent's banquet given giv-en by the .chapter last week. The honorary members comprise com-prise the advisory council to the group. They are B. Glenn Ken-ney, Ken-ney, Dr. T. Donald Boll and Clarence Clar-ence Anderson. The largest group ever to attend at-tend one of the banquets, 124 parents, were guests of the members. mem-bers. The annual fathers .and sons banquet was extended this year to include the mothers of the FFA members. Pies for the banquet were made by FFA members, while Future Homemaker chapter members mem-bers prepared and served the meal. I Guest speaker on the program was Dr. T. Donald Bell, with the other speakers being Jack Sargent, Sar-gent, who welcomed the guests, and a response by his father, D. L. Sargent. Club members Dee White, Larry Jones, and David Brown gave short talks. Karl Kenney, FFA president, was master mas-ter of ceremonies. Music for the affair was furnished fur-nished by Luana Nelson, Helen Mumforn, Diane Tueller and As-villa As-villa Jones. |
