Show Boyter Resigns; C of C Vacancy Filled By Seaman The Board of Directors of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce Monday accepted the resignation res-ignation of Nell K. Boyter as secretary of the organization after af-ter he had served for six consecutive con-secutive years In that capacity. After accepting the resignation of Mr. Boyter, the Board appointed Smoot Seamon to fill the vacan- Mr. Boyter resigned his position posi-tion with the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce In order to devote his entire en-tire time to private business. The coal company business has been maintained at the Chamber Cham-ber office during recent years, but will be transferred to the Fair Deal Motor Company office when the garage is opened for business. It is expected that the transfer to the new location will be made next week end. Mr. Seaman, always active in public affairs, is circulation manager man-ager for the Deseret News in Southern Utah. At present he is secretary of the Cedar City Ro-tary Ro-tary Club, president of the BNS-BAC BNS-BAC Alumni Association, and Ward Clerk for the Cedar Second Ward. He has already begun his activities in connection with the Chamber of Commerce appointment |
